Made in Miami by Venezuelans originally from Maracaibo. 

This delicious soft cheese is truly unique, it's fantastic with Arepas (corn bread), Cachapas (sweet corn pancakes) and Casabe (cassava bread). 

It's name originates from its production process. Basically after the milk coagulates, it is boiled and then it's shaped into small circles by hand.

It's similar to Guayanes cheese in texture, except that it has less salt and hence the overall flavour is softer. In both cases, the cheese is very fresh and we recommend eating right away.
